Resolution No.(33): "Ruling on Investing Orphans` Funds into Development Bonds“

Date: 7/11/1413 AH corresponding to 29/4/1993 AD.

 

The Board has received the following question:

 

What is the Sharia ruling on investing orphans` funds in development bonds and treasury bills?

 

Answer: All success is due to Allah.

 

The Board is of the view that it is forbidden because it is a usury-based loan. And Allah Knows Best.

Who is obligated to fast?

The one obligated to fast is the Muslim who is of sound mind, mature, capable of fasting, and free from obstacles such as menstruation or postpartum bleeding. And Allah Knows Best.

Is hair extension permissible?

All Perfect Praise is due to Allah, The Lord of The Worlds 

It is impermissible for the man and the woman to apply a human`s hair as extension, but using artificial hair is permissible for the married woman after obtaining the approval of her husband so long as non-Mahrams don`t see her. And Allah Knows Best.

Is Aqeeqah due on the miscarried embryo?

No Aqeeqah is due on the miscarried embryo.

Is ablution invalidated when blood comes out of the nose, or a wound?

Blood coming out of the nose, or a wound does not invalidate ablution, but it is preferable to make ablution as a way out of the scholars disagreement in this regard.
