Your Treacherous Nature won`t Intimidate Us

 

The ISIS terrorists continue sending messages threatening people and national security and vowing to carry out more terrorist operations, in addition to mobilizing their sleeper cells and lonely wolves. 

They reinforce these heinous messages with sadistic scenes, which involve beheadings and slaughtering; a solid evidence of their cruelty, barbarism, aberrant behavior, mercilessness and disrespect for human dignity.

They are monsters in human clothing, sick individuals disguising in the cloak of Islam to vent their psychic complexes and hatred against the society to which they belong. They try to cover their deficiency and failure under the pretext of freedom and establishing the caliphate.

What kind of battle is this group managing and against whom? They are killing Muslims in Iraq and Sham (Syria) and carrying out cowardly suicide attacks. Surprisingly, they call these heinous crimes Jihad in the cause of Allah although they are merely devilish operations in support for the enemies of Islam.

They have overlooked the fact that the true battle of the Muslims is one of development, building, and preserving dignity since sanctities can`t be liberated through cowardly barbaric acts. Rather, there has to be material and moral strength founded on truth, justice, and respect of human rights. This very meaning is embodied in the verse (What means): "Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power." [Al-Anfal/60].

No state can be established without safeguarding right and justice and preserving human dignity. This is a difficult mission that can`t be accomplished save by those whom Allah has blessed with success as well as the forward-looking competitors aspiring for the pride of the Muslim nation.

The loyal tribes of Jordan are the builders and guardians of the homeland while the terrorists try to destabilize the country and jeopardize the safety and security of the citizens, but no way!

These treacherous terrorist attempts will only increase our insistence on moving forward at all levels of development and respect for human rights. We, by the permission of Allah, weren`t and won`t be intimidated by your terrorist attempts because we believe in divine decree and are eager to be martyred in the cause of Allah since our life and death are for Allah alone.

As for our brave army and security forces, they are our sons and brothers to whom we are truly grateful and they will remain the strong fortress defending our homeland.

Finally, it is no secret that Islam is the religion of peace, mercy, knowledge, development, civilization and respect for human rights. What the terrorists say and do contradicts the teachings of true Islam, which is innocent from them and their acts. Rather, these heinous acts represent their evil spirits and sick souls.

What is the ruling of Islamic Law on the prayer of zawal?

 

All praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon our master the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
It is recommended (sunnah) to pray four rakʿāt — either with a single tasleem or as two separate sets of two rakʿāt — immediately following the sun's decline from its zenith (zawāl). This prayer is distinct from the regular Sunnah prayer of Ẓuhr (sunnat al-ẓuhr al-rātibah), as explicitly stated by the Shāfiʿī jurists.
It is mentioned in Nihāyat al-Muḥtāj: "The prayer of zawāl is offered after the sun's decline — so were one to perform it before that, it would not count. It consists of two or four rakʿāt and is distinct from the Sunnah of Ẓuhr, as is evident from the fact that it is mentioned separately after the regular Sunnah prayers, and it becomes a make-up prayer (qaḍāʾ) if a long period of time passes by customary reckoning... Al-ʿAlqamī stated: 'Scholars refer to this as the Sunnah of Zawāl, and it is distinct from the four rakʿāt that constitute the Sunnah of Ẓuhr.' Our shaykh said: Al-Ḥāfiẓ al-ʿIrāqī stated that among those who explicitly affirmed its recommendation was al-Ghazālī in al-Iḥyāʾ, in the chapter on devotional litanies, noting that there is no tasleem between them — meaning there is no break between each pair of rakʿāt."
The time of the sun's decline (zawāl) marks the very beginning of the time for the Ẓuhr prayer.

What is the meaning of the Prophetic statement that a boy is held in pledge (murtahan) for his 'aqīqah?

The first interpretation: That if the boy dies in infancy without an 'aqīqah having been performed on his behalf, he will not intercede for his parents on the Day of Resurrection. This is the position of Imam Aḥmad ibn Ḥanbal, and Imam al-Khaṭṭābī concurred with him, stating: "The finest of what has been said regarding this matter is the position adopted by Aḥmad ibn Ḥanbal." — [Fatḥ al-Bārī by Ibn Ḥajar,{Vol.9/P.594]
The second interpretation: That the child is likened to a pledged object (marhūn) — one from which full benefit and enjoyment cannot be derived until it is redeemed. A blessing is only made complete upon the one blessed when they fulfil the obligation of gratitude (shukr), and the prescribed expression of gratitude for this particular blessing is what the Prophet ﷺ established as Sunnah — namely, the slaughtering of the 'aqīqah on behalf of the newborn as an act of thankfulness to Allah the Almighty and as a supplication for the wellbeing and safety of the child. In the Name of Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon our Master, the Messenger of Allah.
 
If the sun sets on the final day of Tashriq (the 13th of Dhu al-Hijjah) and the Udhiyah (sacrificial animal) has not yet been slaughtered, its designated time has expired. Should a person slaughter it after this point, it will not be counted as an Udhiyah.
 
However, if the sacrifice was a vowed one (Mandhurah), they are strictly obligated to slaughter it as a makeup act (Qada’), and its meat must be distributed entirely according to the rules governing vowed sacrifices.
 
It is stated in Bushra al-Karim (p. 702): "If one slaughters after sunset on the final day [of Tashriq]... it does not count as an Udhiyah, unless it was a vowed sacrifice, in which case it is fulfilled as a makeup act (Qada’)." And Allah the Almighty Knows Best.

How is the meat of the 'aqīqah to be distributed?

All praise is due to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon our Master, the Messenger of Allah.
If the 'aqīqah is a recommended one (mandūbah), it is obligatory to give some portion of it in charity to the poor — even if the amount is small — with the minimum being approximately half a kilogram of meat.
The most preferable manner of distribution is to divide it into three equal portions, as with the uḍḥiyyah:
 
One third for the guardian and his household to eat from
One third to be given in charity to the poor
One third to be gifted to friends and neighbours, even if they are wealthy
 
It is furthermore more preferable to send the food to the poor already cooked, rather than inviting them to come and eat. And Allah Almighty knows best.
