She should make up for the missed fasting days once she becomes ritually pure, but it is impermissible for her to pay a ransom while being able to fast.

Your prayer and fast are correct ,and you should not make up for them, and we ask Allah, The Almighty, to duely reward you for these acts of worship. Your menses start once you see blood because the situation remains as such unless there is certainty or predominant conjecture, as per the Fiqh maxim: "Certainty is not removed by doubt". Brownish, yellowish, and reddish discharges are considered part of menstruation if they occur within the menstrual period, provided that the total duration does not exceed fifteen days from the first discharge to the end of the cycle; in this case, all of it is considered menstruation.
