The Fatwa Department of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan was founded in 1921. Since its formation, it has relied upon Hanafi fatwas which were in use during the Ottoman era, and the Mufti has answered the questions of members of the public, whether they relate to worship or financial transactions or personal statutes, and it has assigned a mufti to each judge in cities both large and small. The Fitr Zakah of Ramadhaan is a Sa` (2500 grams) from what the people of that country or state eat the most. And Allah Knows Best.

Jinn are one of Allah creatures, and whosoever lost anything should look for it and never accuse niether the Jinn nor humans of stealing it. And Allah Knows Best.

Whoever conditions disbelief on something and intends to disbelieve if it happens, he becomes a disbeliever immediately. Therefore, you must pronounce the two testimonies of faith (Shahada) and reconcile with your wife if she is in her waiting period (Iddah). It is recommended to consult the Department of Fatwa for further guidance. And Allah Knows Best.

Is it permissible for the big brother to force his sisters to wear Hijjab (Islamic wear) if their father didn`t do his part in this regard ?

The father`s attention should be drawn gently and politely, and the sisters should also be reminded with good words since Allah, The Almighty, Says (What means): "O ye who believe! Save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones." [Al-Tahreem/6]. And Allah Knows Best.

What is the ruling on shaving the head of the newborn?

It is desirable to shave the head of the newborn on the seventh day from delivery, and the weight of his/her hair is given in gold , or silver as charity.
