Is it permissible for us to sever ties of kinship if our blood-relatives` gatherings/meetings involve acts of sin?
Observing kinship ties is obligatory, and paying your blood-relatives a visit causing their sinful acts to be hindered , then you should do so. However, if their sinful acts continue while you are at their gathering and they didn't respond positively, then observing kinship ties via telephone and the like will suffice in this case. Is there zakat on social security savings (retirement benefits)?
If the retirement benefits are received, zakat is due on them for one year. Before receiving them, they are not in the person’s possession to be liable for zakat. And Allah Knows Best.
Is washing both openings (Istinjaa`) a must before every ablution?
Washing the front and back openings (Istinjaa`) is a must in case they have an impurity, but if they do not, there is no need for that, and Istinjaa` is not a condition for the validity of ablution.
Is permissible to include a will requesting that a Holy Qur'an buried along with me?
It is not permissible to include a will requesting that a Quran be buried with the deceased in their grave. This is because the body of the deceased typically decomposes and may release impure substances, and it is not allowed to expose the Quran to impurity. Intentionally desecrating the Quran is an act of disbelief. Instead, read the Quran during your lifetime, as it will benefit you after death. And Allah Knows Best.
