Resolution No.(110): “Ruling on the Slaughtering  Method Used by the Indian Company (M.K over Seas)”

Date: 2/6/1426 AH, corresponding to 28/6/2006 AD.

 

The Board received the following question:
What is the Sharia ruling on the slaughtering method used by the Indian company (M.K over Seas)?
Answer: All success is due to Allah
After reviewing the slaughtering mechanism, the personnel doing the slaughtering and those supervising it, the Iftaa Board has decided the following:
The slaughtering is in accordance with the rulings of Sharia, the personnel carrying out the slaughtering are Muslims and the aforesaid company is overseen by a specialized Muslim overseer who makes sure that the slaughtering is carried out in accordance with the rulings of Islamic Sharia. And Allah Knows Best.

What is the ruling on uncovering the eyes while wearing a Khimar?

Praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds. May His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Mohammad and upon all his family and companions.
There is no sin in uncovering the eyes, but it is better not to. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.
 

Is it permissible for a person to give the Zakah (obligatory charity) to his daughter-in-law?

Yes, it is permissible for a person to give the Zakah to his daughter-in-law if she was poor, and none provided for particularly by whom are obliged to provide for her. And Allah Knows Best.

Is the prayer of a woman who is led by an Imam via T.V. permissible?

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of The Worlds, and may His Peace and Blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all of his family and companions.                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Amongst the conditions for the validity of prayer is that both the Imam and those led by him must be in the same place. Thus, the prayer of the person who is being led by a televised Imam is invalid unless he/she was with him in the same mosque. And Allah Knows Best.

How are those killed in wars punished with the torment of the grave if they are not buried?

The torment of the grave refers to the suffering that the deceased experiences between the day of their death and the Day of Resurrection, which is called the Barzakh period. Similarly, it includes the blessings of the grave, whether the deceased is buried or not. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best
