A fasting person does not break their fast if something enters their body cavity against their will, such as a fly, road dust, or flour dust.

It is not permissible to wipe over most common socks today because the conditions for wiping are not met. If such parties involve mixing between men and women, or forbidden acts such as listening to songs with sinful lyrics, then attending them is forbidden from the view point of Sharia since people`s admonition is nothing compared to Allah`s, The Almighty`s, wrath.
