A person owns sheep or goats and occasionally feeds them from the grass in other people's orchards without the owners’ permission. Is it permissible to eat the meat of these animals if invited to do so? Is it permissible to purchase from these sheep whose owner feed them from people's orchards without their permission, and can one accept gifts from them, such as meat or milk?

Yes, it is permissible because the one who is accountable is their owner, and the cost of the grass on his accountability. In addition, in order to be on the safe side you should abstain from eating his products, because his sheep case is as if they were fed on impurities. And Allah Knows Best.

Is it permissible for a pious Muslim woman to stay with her husband who had quit praying out of laziness?

Quitting prayer is one of the major grave sins that come after disbelieving in Allah, but the wife of such a person isn`t considered divorced, rather, she should exert all her efforts in order to bring him back to the way of Islam. However, if his sin is likely to lure her from the way of Islam, then she had better separate from him by lawful means such as Mokhal`aa (When a wife pays a compensation for her husband in return for divorcing her). Moreover, if she exercises patience, and remains steadfast on her faith, then there is no harm in doing that.

Statement on the Stabbing of the Tourists

All perfect praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds. May His peace and blessings be upon Prophet Mohammad, his family and noble companions.

Attacking tourists is a heinous crime that contradicts the teachings of our Islamic religion, which commands honoring the guest and preserving the sanctity of human beings.

Neither custom nor religion condone such crime and it is not related to our inherent Arab Islamic morality in this blessed country of safety and security.

We ask Allah to protect Jordan to remain an oasis of security and stability. The General Iftaa` Department

May His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Mohammad and upon all his family and companions There is no sin in working for the bank that declares compliance with the rulings of Sharia, in addition to adhering to the rulings of the supervising Sharia committee in the bank itself. This is provided that the committee consists of righteous, trustworthy, specialized scholars. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.

Is permissible to abort my embryo if there was a risk on my Life?

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of The Worlds, and may His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all of his family and companions Abortion is permissible if it was confirmed that the existence of the fetus within his mother's Belly might cause her certain death.Therefore, abortion is permissible if the above conditions were met. After our father had passed away, my brother and I stayed with our mother for twenty years and served her to the best of our effort. However, she asked our other brothers (3) to support her financially but they refused to pay her anything. As a result, she gave her share of the inheritance to me and my brother. What is the ruling of Sharia on this?

It is recommended to give one`s children, males and females, equally. However, your mother is allowed to give one of them more than the others because he/she is needy or more dutiful to her than the others. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.
