Statement on the Disgraceful Scene Shown on a Satellite Channel

 

All perfect praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds. May His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Mohammad and upon all his family and companions.

We, along with all citizens, resented the outrageous scene shown by one of the satellite channels, contradicting all the constants of Islam and the teachings of divine religions. This is since it promotes homosexuality, obscenity and transgression against the virtuous values and ethics of the Jordanian society. Allah the Almighty says {What means}: " Those who love (to see) scandal published broadcast among the Believers, will have a grievous Penalty in this life and in the Hereafter: God knows, and ye know not." {An-Nur, 19}.

 

In light of this, We (Iftaa` Department) emphasize that media has a meaningful message and shoulders the responsibility of instilling noble values and strong morals and ethics, which play a vital role in the upbringing of the future generations. Consequently, this obscene scene defies the morals and the established foundations of committed media in our society. And Allah the Almighty knows best.

She should make up for missed fasting days before the start of next Ramadan if possible, but if she didn`t while being able to, then she is obliged to make up for them along with feeding a needy person for each delayed day of the missed fasting days. However, if she wasn`t able to make up for the missed fasting days before the start of next Ramadan, she has to fast a day for every day that she missed, and no ransom is due on her. Is a Muslim is Permitted to Pray Wearing Shoes?

He said: "Yes." Moreover, Ibn Rajab (May Allah have mercy on his soul) said: "Performing prayer wearing slippers/shoes is permissible according the majority of the Muslim scholars." It is impermissible to look at pictures of naked women via the internet, and this act is forbidden according to Sharia. The proof of this is that Almighty Allah Says (What means): "Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: And God is well acquainted with all that they do." [An-Nur/30]. Therefore, we advise you to busy yourself with offering acts of obedience that draw you closer to Allah and prepare yourself for meeting Him on The Day of Judgment. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.

After buying tires, I made an oath not to buy tires from a person. Afterwards, he offered his entire car for sale. What is the ruling on this?

If you bought the entire car and in order to be on the safe side, you should pay an expiation; feeding 10 poor people and the cost of feeding a person is half a JD. And Allah Knows Best.
