A Statement on Banning Forbidden Festivals

 

All perfect praise be to Allah. Peace and blessings be upon Prophet Mohammad and upon his family and righteous companions.

Calls have recently spread via some means of media for holding festivals that carry exotic names and involve aberrant activities. The most recent of these is the so-called "The Wine Festival"

We stress that calling for such festivals, holding them and taking part in them violates the teachings of our Islamic faith, and they aren`t a part of  our authentic Islamic values as well as the traditions and customs observed in our blessed Jordan of The Hashemites.

On its part, The Iftaa` Department calls on citizens to boycott such festivals which incur corruption to the country and its people.

The Department also calls on the official authorities to ban such events in order to maintain our orthodox faith and the integrity of the Jordanian people.

Moreover, the Department highly appreciates the statement issued by the Ministry of Interior banning such festivals and calling those in charge of them to account.

We beseech Allah, The Almighty, to avert our country all kinds of sins and trials be they seen, or unseen.

And all perfect praise is due to Allah, The Lord of The Worlds.

She should make up for missed fasting days before the start of next Ramadan if possible, but if she didn`t while being able to, then she is obliged to make up for them along with feeding a needy person for each delayed day of the missed fasting days. However, if she wasn`t able to make up for the missed fasting days before the start of next Ramadan, she has to fast a day for every day that she missed, and no ransom is due on her. And Allah Knows Best.

Whoever conditions disbelief on something and intends to disbelieve if it happens, he becomes a disbeliever immediately. Therefore, you must pronounce the two testimonies of faith (Shahada) and reconcile with your wife if she is in her waiting period (Iddah). You are permitted to perform Umrah. Strive to repay the debt in hopes of reducing the amount of usurious interest. Allah Says (What means): "And there are others who have acknowledged their sins. They had mixed a righteous deed with another that was bad. Perhaps Allah will turn to them in forgiveness. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." [At-Tawbah/102]. And Allah Knows Best.
 
 
 
 
 

A man cursed Allah, is he allowed to perform prayer without making Ghusl?

Cursing Allah is an act of apostasy and one who commits it must utter the testimonies of faith, make repentance, take back wife; however, it isn`t conditioned that he makes Ghusl (Full body ritual purification) to pray. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.
