Question :
What is the ruling of Islamic Law (Sharia) on using the word "Sahā’ib" (clouds) in supplication, such as saying: "clouds of mercy" or "clouds of curse"?

All perfect praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds. May His peace and blessings be upon Prophet Mohammad and upon all his family and companions.
There is no sin in using the word "Sahā’ib" (clouds) when asking for forgiveness, mercy, or similar forms of goodness. It is a metaphorical expression intended to convey abundance and continuous flow, just as heavy rain pours continuously from the clouds in the sky.
As for using it in cursing (La'in), it is better for a Muslim to avoid that, as Islam is a religion of good character, and the true Muslim is not one who is constantly insulting or cursing. The Prophet (PBUH) said: "The believer is not a slanderer, nor does he curse others, and nor is he immoral or shameless." [Al-Tirmidhi]. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.
