Question :
I have been married for three years. On wedding night, I couldn`t consummate the marriage with my bride. This continued for over a month. I started reciting the Quran and praying to Allah and He blessed me with relief. However, I still suffer a minor weakness that doesn`t affect my sex life. I went to hospital and doctors assured me that everything is fine. Not long ago, my wife had a dream in which she was wearing white garment and a man asked her to dig a certain spot. Could you interpret that dream for me? What supplications and prayers do you recommend? Do you know any trustworthy person that does Ruqiya? What is the lawful Ruqiya that I can do so that Allah blesses us with a child?
The Answer :
Praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds.
We pray that Allah gives you whatever you aspire for and blesses you, your wife and child. We recommend that you abide by supplications (Azkar), which fit for every time and place, and those, which fit for a certain time or situation, such as morning supplications, evening supplications, sexual intercourse supplications and the like. All these supplications and others are included in An-Nawawi`s book [Al-Azkar].We also recommend that you recite a great deal of the Quran at home; particularly Chapter "Al-Baqara" since the Messenger of Allah said: "Recite Surah Al-Baqara, for to take recourse to it is a blessing and to give it up is a cause of grief, and the magicians cannot confront it. (Mu'awiya said: It has been conveyed to me that here Batala means magicians.){Related by Muslim}.
Doing so means that you have adopted the legal means like any other Muslim, so there is no need for going to someone who does Ruqiya. Rather, you need to visit the specialized doctors of medicine because infertility is a disease and Allah the Almighty has created a cure for every disease. We also advise you not to waste your time chasing visions and dreams.
In addition, if you do dig where the man in your wife`s dream has pointed, you may find nothing. If you do find anything, then melt it in water while reciting chapter "Al-Korsi", chapter "Al-Ekhlaas and Almoawithatain (Al-Falaq and An-Naas), then pour that water on clean ground. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.
