Statement by the General Iftaa` Department on His Majesty King Abdullah II`s Decision Regarding the Restoration of the Lands of Baqoura and Ghamr

 

All perfect praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds. May His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Mohammad and upon all his family and companions.

 

Allah the Almighty says {what means}: " Before this We wrote in the Psalms, after the Message (given to Moses): My servants the righteous, shall inherit the earth." {Al-Anbiyaa`, 105}.

 

The General Iftaa` Department appreciates the courageous stance of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein to terminate the Baqoura and Al-Ghamr agreement, which represents a historic moment in the history of Jordan and the Jordanians.

 

This historic achievement is added to the record of the Hashemites, which is full of great accomplishments in preserving the Arab and Islamic identity, and defending lands and sanctities, including the Hashemite Custodianship over Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.

This wise decision achieves the noble royal vision that emanates from the constants of Jordanian sovereignty and aims to preserve every atom of the soil of this dear country so that Jordan remains dear and lofty, and the right returns to its owners.

 

In this occasion, we remember the sacrifices of the Arab Army in defending Jordan and preserving its dignity.

 

We pray that Allah protects Jordan under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II.

A person vowed to slaughter a sacrificial animal. Is he permitted to eat from it?

If the vowed sacrificial animal was for the sake of Allah, and the one who vowed didn't specify then its meat should be distributed only among the poor and needy similar to distributing Zakah of Al-Fiter so neither him nor his dependents permitted to eat from; however if his vow was to made a banquet and invititing his relatives and others; then he must bring up as much as he can from its meat for them. In addition, he is permitted to eat from it in a reasonable basis. And Allah Knows Best. 

A person prays in a certain spot within the rows of the mosque, and gets angry if someone else prayed at his spot. What is the ruling on this behavior?

All Perfect Praise be to Allah The Lord of The Worlds and may His Peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all of his family and companions                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) make it prohibited for a Muslim from having/taking a certain spot in the mosque when performing prayers if they arrived and find it occupied, furthermore; it is the religious duty on others (praying people) to offer a piece of advice to alert the ones who don't know, that whoever reaches a spot first at the mosque having a priority/privilege upon others in that spot. I underwent a procedure for a molar pregnancy (hydatidiform mole), and after that, the bleeding continued for more than two months, during which I did not pray. Do I need to make up the missed prayers?

If you have previously experienced postpartum bleeding, the duration of the current bleeding is treated the same as your previous postpartum period. Any bleeding that exceeds this duration must be considered irregular bleeding (istihada), and you must make up the missed prayers. If this is the first time, then any bleeding beyond sixty days is considered irregular bleeding. You must perform ghusl, pray, and make up the prayers for the days beyond the sixty-day limit. What is the ruling on the unification of Adhan?

 All perfect praise be to AllahThe Lord of The Worlds, and may His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all of his family and companions.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  The unified Adhan is an act of Sunnah performed on behalf of a city's population. In addition, any Masjid that doesn’t have a Mua'than (The person who calls for prayers) and doesn`t raise the Adhan misses the reward of this great act. This is because Adhan should be raised for every group of people. However, the unified Adhan should be called in one Masjid and heard through all other Masjids. And Allah Knows Best.
