The Terrorist Crime in America and Libya

 

All perfect praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds. May His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Mohammad and upon all his family and companions.

The General Iftaa` Department ascertains that the killing of the innocent based on religious, sectarian or racial affiliations poses a serious threat to all humanity and a transgression rejected by Islam, the religion of mercy and human dignity. Allah says {what means}: "We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures." {Al-Anbiya`, 107}. He also says {What means}: "We have honoured the sons of Adam;" {Al-Israa`, 70}.

The Department strongly condemns the heinous crime that took place in the United States and led to the death of three Muslims. It also condemns the horrible crime in which a number of Egyptian Coptic Christians were beheaded in Libya. A crime so abhorring that it shook the world conscience. However, these stonehearted criminals don`t represent Islam and Islam is innocent from them.

Accordingly, the Department calls on scholars, thinkers and opinion influencers to stand up to extremism, display the true luminous image of Islam and prevent the attack against it. This is since mistaking Islam for extremism disrupts and destroys human societies. We ask Allah to bless our beloved country, along with other Muslim countries, with peace and security.

We recommend visiting a skilled doctor who fears Allah. If he says that there is no harm in having the injection, then it is permissible to use it. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.

I went to the health center today to take an intramuscular injection of Neurorubin B12. The nurse told me that this type of injection breaks the fast because it nourishes the body. Is this true? I have heard that intramuscular injections do not break the fast, but I was unsure about this type, so I decided not to take the injection.
 
 
 
 
 

Therapeutic injections administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly do not invalidate the fast because they do not enter the digestive tract through an open passage. However, intravenous injections containing nutritional fluids do break the fast, as they are akin to food and drink in effect. It isn`t permissible to kick wife out of house save for a valid reason since Almighty Allah Says (What means): "O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should ye treat them with harshness, that ye may Take away part of the dower ye have given them,-except where they have been guilty of open lewdness; on the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and God brings about through it a great deal of good." [An-Nisa`/19]. In addition, it is the duty of the husband to provide for his wife and children in kindness, and this includes food, garment and residence. Moreover, dialogue and supplication are the best means for solving marital problems; however, the wronged party may resort to court. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.
