All perfect praise be to AllahThe Lord of The Worlds, and may His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all of his family and companions.
A woman who is in a state of Janabah (Major Ritual impurity) or having menses is allowed to listen to the Quran, because what is prohibited, here, is her reciting the Quran;not listening to it. Moreover, the Prophet (PBUH) used to recite the Quran and Aysha' (May Allah be pleased with her) used to listen to him ,although she was in menses. This is according to the narration of Bukhari& Muslim. And Allah Knows Best.
