Resolution No.(33): "Ruling on Investing Orphans` Funds into Development Bonds“

Date: 7/11/1413 AH corresponding to 29/4/1993 AD.

 

The Board has received the following question:

 

What is the Sharia ruling on investing orphans` funds in development bonds and treasury bills?

 

Answer: All success is due to Allah.

 

The Board is of the view that it is forbidden because it is a usury-based loan. And Allah Knows Best.

There is no sin in uncovering the eyes, but it is better not to. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.

No, it hasn`t, but it is desirable that we give them good names.

What is the ruling on aborting a fetus affected by thalassemia?

If this is recommended by a trustworthy doctor who is god-fearing and knowledgeable, then it is permissible to have an abortion because some types of thalassemia are dangerous while some aren`t. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.

What is the ruling o associations (Whereas a person who have money buys a commodity for a person and  and gets a profit on it)?

It is permissible for a person to buy a commodity for someone's else and have a profit/loss on it
