The Iftaa` Department Condemns the Terrorist Incident in Sri Lanka

 

The General Iftaa` Department condemns the cowardly terrorist incident that targeted a group of churches and hotels in Sri Lanka, which resulted in the loss of innocent lives, attacks on places of worship, and intimidation of safe people. This horrible act contradicts with the higher objectives of Islamic Law as well as all divine laws. It also contradicts with the provisions of Islamic law which aim to enhance peace and security, stop bloodshed and protect places of worship. Such cowardly acts targeting worshippers and places of worship contribute in spreading hatred amongst people and create obstacles amongst them, which keeps them in a state of continued struggle instead of cooperation for the good of humanity.

 

The Department extends its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to the wounded.

 

We ask Allah to protect Jordan from every evil and bless it with continued peace and security.

Sins hinder the answering of the Du`a, and deprive the sinner from means of subsistence; whereas, acts of obedience facilitate making a living. Allah, The Almighty, Says (What means) : "And for those who fear God, He (ever) prepares a way out. And He provides for him from (sources) he never could imagine." [At-Talaq/2-3].

I wish to Pray at the Mosque, but I couldn't because I am a Woman. How can I get such a Reward?

All perfect praise be to Allah The Lord of The Worlds, and may His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all of his family and companions                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Abdullah Ibn Masood (May Allah be Pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (PBUH) said: "Her prayer inside her home is better than its courtyard, and her prayer in her own bedroom is better than inside her home." [Abu Dawood]. Her staying at home, and not going to the mosque in obedience to Allah`s injunctions entails a great reward similar to that bestowed on a man for going to the mosque since the Mercy and Blessings of Allah Prevails. It is impermissible to look at pictures of naked women via the internet, and this act is forbidden according to Sharia. The proof of this is that Almighty Allah Says (What means): "Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: And God is well acquainted with all that they do." [An-Nur/30]. Therefore, we advise you to busy yourself with offering acts of obedience that draw you closer to Allah and prepare yourself for meeting Him on The Day of Judgment. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.

What is the ruling of Sharia when a man releases his sperm out of his wife`s vagina?

This is called coitus interruptus and it is permissible according to Sharia when practiced by agreement of both spouses. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.
