King Bestows State Centennial Medal on Iftaa` Department

 

His Majesty King Abdullah II bestowed the State Centennial Medal on the General Iftaa` Department (9/10/2022) for its adherence to the moderate centrist Islamic method of fatwa and avoiding aberrant fatwas. 

The State Centennial Medal was received by Sheikh AbdulKareem AlKhasawneh during the celebration of Prophet Mohammad`s birth anniversary held by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs at the King Abdullah I Mosque in Amman.

If the release of gas stops at certain times between prayers, you should wait for that time, perform ablution, and pray. However, if it is continuous, you should perform ablution after the prayer time begins and pray, and the release of gas during the prayer is excused. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.

Is it permissible to combine and shorten prayers at home before traveling?

It is impermissible to combine and shorten prayers at home before traveling because a person is called a traveler once he/she departs the borders of his/her country, and offering prayer that way was originally intended to exempt a traveler. And Allah Knows Best.

Is it permissible to repeat the Istikhara (seeking guidance) prayer, and is it a condition that one should sleep after offering it?

All perfect praise be to Allah,The Lord of The Worlds                                                                                                                                                            Istikhara is offered once, but it is permissible to repeat it, and sleeping after offering it is not a condition for its validity. There is a car dealership, and their method of selling is as follows: The customer pays the full price of the car, the car is registered in their name, and another contract is written in which the company commits to refunding the full price of the car to the customer after one year from the purchase date. What is the Islamic ruling on this transaction?

As for purchasing the car, paying its price, and owning it, this is a valid sale with no issue. However, the condition of refunding the price — whether the car is returned to the seller or not — is an invalid condition that nullifies the entire contract. Therefore, this transaction is invalid and not permissible. And Allah Knows Best.
