Statement over the Events at Al-Aqsa Mosque

In the Name of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of The Worlds, and may His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Mohammad and upon all his family and companions:

The Iftaa` Department of Jordan condemns with the strongest of terms closing Al-Aqsa mosque, violating religious symbols, banning Muslims from performing Friday prayer in the Noble Sanctuary, and not allowing them to enter it. The Dept. reiterates that these provocations constitute a flagrant violation of Islamic sanctities and freedom of religion, heart the feelings of Muslims worldwide, and violate human rights as well as international human rights law.

We call upon the international community and the Islamic states in particular to shoulder their responsibilities by ending these barbaric acts. Indeed, it is the duty of every Muslim to defend Al-Aqsa mosque from different dangers and violations. Under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah the second, Jordan has dedicated all its resources for the restoration and protection of Al-Aqsa mosque. In fact, this emanates from the historical and spiritual responsibility of the Hashemite family whose ancestry traces back to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). We pray that Allah safeguards Al-Aqsa mosque and favors Muslims with taking it back. And all perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of The Worlds.

Most of the narrations about the signs of the Hour concerning the Sufyani, who is said to appear before the Mahdi, indicate that he is the leader of the army that will invade the Kaaba, and Allah will cause the earth to swallow them. We disassociate ourselves before Allah from those who killed Al-Husayn Ibn Ali (may Allah be pleased with them), supported his killing, or encouraged it, whether openly or secretly.  By slip of the tongue, my son cursed Allah. It is worth pointing that he has concluded his marriage contract recently, but haven`t consummated the marriage. What is the position of Sharia on this?

This person must return to the fold of Islam by uttering the two testimonies of faith and making repentance to Allah from all acts that lead to disbelief. Also, he must make a new marriage contract because the old one was dissolved after he had committed this act of disbelief. Moreover, since there is no waiting period for his wife, then she is in state of Talaq ba`en baynona Soghra (Minor irrevocable divorce); consequently, she can get back to him only by a new marriage contract. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.

Touching non-Mahram woman is prohibited, and according to the Shafiee's, it invalidates the ablution. And Allah Knows Best.

Answer: Some of the acts that aid in offering Fajr prayer are: 1- Going to bed early. 2-  Willingness to wake up. 3- Reciting Al-Korsi verse from Chapter Al-Baqarah. 4- Taking refuge in Allah from the cursed devil, and making ablution immediatley after being awake, but it is preferable to ask someone to help in this regard to perform the Fajr prayer. And Allah Knows Best.
