Books of Islamic jurisprudence have clearly stated the conditions for holding the position of an Islamic judge as well as positions of non-exclusive jurisdiction. On its part, Islam has honored women by being mothers, wives, sisters, daughters and aunts. However, the above mentioned positions don`t suit them since the Prophet (PBUH) said: "A people who make a woman their ruler will never be successful." [Reported by al-Bukhari]. And Allah Knows Best.
