Statement on the Stabbing of the Tourists

 

All perfect praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds. May His peace and blessings be upon Prophet Mohammad, his family and noble companions.

 

Attacking tourists is a heinous crime that contradicts the teachings of our Islamic religion, which commands honoring the guest and preserving the sanctity of human beings. 

Neither custom nor religion condone such crime and it is not related to our inherent Arab Islamic morality in this blessed country of safety and security.

 

We ask Allah to protect Jordan to remain an oasis of security and stability. The General Iftaa` Department

Reciting the Prophetic narration is permissible as many scholars used to, since in principle, the rulings of recitation have to be observed while speaking Arabic language. And Allah Knows Best.

It is permissible to use such cards in accordance with the following conditions : 1- The issuing body does not stipulate collecting interest upon late payments. 2- The merchant does not increase the price of the goods due to an increase in the commission collected from him by the card issuer.3- The purchased item(s) should not be gold , silver or currency in case the card is not covered. And Allah Knows Best.

What is the ruling on a Muslim who slaughters an animal while being in a state of Janabah (ritual impurity)?

All Perfect Praise be to Allah, The Lord of The Worlds, and may His Peace and Blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upo all of his family and companions.

Slaughtering is permissible for the ritually impure man and the menstruating woman because ritual purity isn`t a condition for the validity of the slaughtering. Moreover, it is permissible for the uncircumcised person to do the slaughtering as well. And Allah The Almighy Knows Best.
