What is the ruling on using bank cards such as Visa and MasterCard?
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of The Worlds, and may His Peace and Blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upo all of his family and comapnions.
It is permissible to use such cards in accordance with the following conditions : 1- The issuing body does not stipulate collecting interest upon late payments. 2- The merchant does not increase the price of the goods due to an increase in the commission collected from him by the card issuer.3- The purchased item(s) should not be gold , silver or currency in case the card is not covered. Is it permissible for a woman to pluck her eyebrows, or to shave them and have a tattoo in their place?
It is forbidden for a woman to pluck her eyebrows, or to shave them and have a tattoo in their place since this is called (Nums), and the Prophet (PBUH) has cursed those who do it.
What is the ruling of Sharia on marrying a Jewish woman, dealing with the Jews, and going to Israel?
All perfect praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds. May Allah`s peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Mohammad and upon all his family and companions.
It is allowed for a Muslim to marry a Jewish or a Christian woman provided that this doesn`t affect his religion. As for dealing with the Jews who are outside Palestine, it is the same as dealing with the Christians; it is permissible as long as it doesn`t harm Islam. As for dealing with the Jews who are inside Palestine, the ruling differs depending on the persons themselves and the situations. By the end of the day, a believer`s heart leads him/her to what is good. And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.
Is Zakah(obligatory charity) due on rented property, and how is it calculated?
Zakah isn`t due on the rented property itself, but on the saved income from that property if it reached Nissab(minimum amount liable for Zakah), and a whole lunar year had lapsed over saving it.
