Question :

At present, different Fatwas are delivered, what do you make of that?



The Answer :

Praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds.


There is no harm in disagreement with respect to ancillary branches of religion (Furu) since what counts, here, is how to deal with it. At the research phase, disagreement is normal, but it must be resolved upon issuing the ruling of Sharia on the case or issue at hand.


Disagreement is a positive thing and it is for the good of the people. It is even disagreed about the interpretation of secular laws. In addition, there is a difference between a legal text and its interpretation, and this causes disagreement. And Allah the Almighty Knows Best.
