What is the ruling on using bank cards such as Visa and MasterCard?
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of The Worlds, and may His Peace and Blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upo all of his family and comapnions.
It is permissible to use such cards in accordance with the following conditions: 1- The issuing body does not stipulate collecting interest upon late payments. 2- The merchant does not increase the price of the goods due to an increase in the commission collected from him by the card issuer. 3- The purchased item(s) should not be gold, silver or currency in case the card is not covered. Is it disliked to clip one`s nails at night, and is it permissible to burn them afterwards?
It is desirable to bury the cut hair and the clipped nails. As for burning clipped nails, there is no evidence forbidding that , but it is better to suffice with the aforesaid ruling-burying cut hair and clipped nails-as it is based on a well known evidence.
Is it permissible to give lessons to mixed students of the seventh grade?
It is impermissible to give private lessons to mixed students since such an act leads to serious consequences for the students in this grade are teenagers.
Should one obey his mother even if she was wrong?
Obeying one`s mother is mandatory in matters that are beneficial to her and as long as she drive her childrennot to commit a sin.
