All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.
It is permissible for Tkiyet Um Ali to be deputized by people to buy and slaughter Adahi on their behalf in return for a fixed amount of money. It is also permissible for the person deputizing Tykiyet Um Ali to say to its director: "This sum is for buying an Udhiya, slaughtering it, and distributing its meat on my behalf." Whatever remains out of that sum goes to Tkiyet Um Ali. Tkiyet Um Ali uses these surplus amounts, which it took in return for buying and slaughtering Adahi, in developing its different charitable projects, covering different expenses and buying Adhi. The latter are slaughtered on behalf of particular poor people or a those who had contributed in buying them. This is attested to in the fact that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) slaughtered two horned rams on the day of sacrifice (Eid Al Adha), one on his behalf and his family`s and the other on his behalf and his nation`s (Muslim Ummah). And Allah the Almighty Knows Best.
