Question :
Is a woman permitted to recite the Quran without wearing Hijab although she is in state of ablution?
The Answer :
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of The Worlds, and may His peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all of his family and companions.
A woman is permitted to recite the Holy Quran without wearing the Hijab(Islamic covering)because it is not a condition for recitation. Yet, wearing it is recommended in order to be ready for the prostration of recitation, since a woman must cover all of her body save her face and hands so as for her prostration to be valid similar to the conditions that render prayer valid. In conclusion, a Muslim should be keen on reciting the Quran on steady basis. And Allah knows best.
