Praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds.

There is no Islamic reason that prevents marrying a disabled woman. On the contrary, marrying such a woman help solve this problem, preserves chastity, shields society against vice and entails a great reward from Allah the Almighty. Moreover, Islam has encouraged marrying the religious woman, be she able-bodied or disabled. The Prophet (PBUH) said: "A woman is married for four things, i.e., her wealth, her family status, her beauty and her religion. So you should marry the religious woman (otherwise) you will be a loser." {Bukhari}. In his commentary on this Hadith, Ibn Hajar stated: "This narration encourages Muslims to marry pious women." {Fateh Al-Barie, 9/135}.

The Prophet said: “Do not marry women for their beauty for it may lead to their doom. Do not marry them for their wealth, for it may lead them to fall into sin. Rather, marry them for their religion. A black slave woman with piercings who is religious is better.” {Ibn Majah}.

Many scholars have married blind, deaf and mute women for their religion.

In addition, some women were able-bodied but had accidents that made them disabled. Still, their husbands took care of them to receive the reward from Allah and served them as a kind of returning the favor.

Further, it isn`t permissible to fulfill sexual desire save with husband and a Muslim should be keen on preserving his/her chastity through patience, a great deal of fasting and keeping busy with doing what is useful. This is because whoever doesn`t keep his/her body parts busy with performing acts of obedience, they will keep him/her busy with sins.

Accordingly, people in charge should come up with the proper solution before this problem worsens and becomes unsolvable. And Allah the Almighty knows best.
