I have divorced my wife after a heated debate, what should I do?

The General Iftaa` Department apologizes for not answering questions related to Divorce, Eila`a {abandonment of wife by husband`s swearing}, and Dhihar {claiming one`s wife sexually impermissible like an unmarriageable woman} via its website because these cases require that the husband visits the Mufti and acquaints him with every detail.

In other cases, it is imperative that the wife be present in order for the Mufti to be able to deliver the correct Fatwa. Accordingly, we recommend the questioner to visit the closest Fatwa office in his area of residence.And Allah The Almighty Knows Best.
